    ya liew-plew tze-piah v2.0 11:20 AM

haha with regards to the title, met the new bunch of exchange guys in hall last night when everyone gathered in the comm hall for Cultural Night. Nicholas from Germany and Karol from Poland, both studying in Manchester; Peter - this tall guy from Sweden who has more difficulty understanding our english than the others; and another guy whose name escapes me from Ukraine. Nick and Karol are really kinda cool, they aren't apprehensive about trying Singapore food, and they sure have done their research - Karol asked for Crispy Noodle (Sheng Mian) and he's already tried Laksa, which led to Nicholas wanting to try it, and Peter tried Bak Chor Mee. and they all got a cup of Teh Peng each. which reminded me of my reluctance to try other food when I was in Bangkok. all I wanted to eat was Phad Thai. lol me and yuchii brought them out for supper last night because they didn't have dinner and had no idea where to get food around hall at that kinda time, and who would blame them.. its no-man's land in NTU. so we took the liberty of orienting them about the supper places around school. anyway so back to the title, I realised the version manda told me is slightly exaggerated. haha its not really as funny, more like a 'ya lub-lew ze-biah' haha.. its really amazing how mobile families can be in Europe. Nicholas has lived in 6 countries before and well he knows a multitude of languages.. and we thought Singaporeans being bilingual was a feat.

its the first week of school and things have already begun to get busy. a thick stack of notes to read, tutorials to prepare for next week so I don't wind up having as much presence as a wallpaper during class discussions. must work hard this semester! ok time to do work. tataaaa

Welcome to the drunk mootoo tiger's blog. This is the blog of a nonsensical 22 year-old. All posts are true accounts of misadventures in my life.

    misadventurer
I'm a shopaholic, a chocoholic, an alcoholic, a clubbaholic, an eataholic, a music junkie, a traveler. I love crying in the movies, love cookies and popcorn, love lazing at home and love making people laugh. I'm addicted to Johnson's Baby lotion, to my mom's cooking and to sinful desserts. I cannot multi-task, I cannot drive, and I'm afraid of heights but I enjoy rollercoasters. I like to be around people with whom I don't have to care if they think I'm crazy drinking bak kut teh from a straw. I've never taken the reverse bungee, never been to the US, and never dyed my hair pink. And I want to go on an misadventure once in my life.

    the grand plan
