justin timberlake plays on the radio.
12:04 AM the guys' soccer match today was a whole rollercoaster of hits and misses. lots of us were down supporting and it felt great hearing everyone get excited everytime the opportunity for a goal arose. and then you'd hear everyone heave a sigh of relief in unison when the opposing team missed a goal by a hair. it was a pretty heart-stopping match. near-misses bouncing off the goalpost, getting stuck in the puddle of collected rainwater across the goal line that saved us from a draw. in the end the hall guys won! yayy so happy for them. because they deserve it. and because we could do with a boost to our morale. go hall five! :P so cheesy but well.. haha the exchange guys had a bbq downstairs today after the match. timo, johannas, kiddo, yusol and sampsa.. really cool bunch of exchange students (3 of them played in the afternoon's match somemore. haha) didn't really get the chance to talk to them at length the whole of the sem until recently. and then I got to show-off my german a little bit cos one of them's german. the others are like from denmark and holland. haha and now I'm reconsidering going to Europe for exchange. even though money may be a really big concern since its so blardy ex! But imagine if I could learn German for real like in Switzerland or Germany. so cool right. *praying hard my grades this sem don't pull down my GPA too much first, since INSTEP allocation is so much about grades. sulk* some of the exchange guys will be goin back soon since the sem's already over. but I'm glad they managed to blend into the hall culture here. and got really involved in hall. cause I believe they'll bring back with them a pleasant experience of both Singapore and NTU. They really did spice things up a bit. heh the tennis match's tmr anyways.. 2pm in the afternoon. hope it doesn't rain tmr though, else the match might need to be postponed, which will be damn sian. not too sure what I'll be playing yet but well hopefully things go well. don't let those trainings go to waste! praying I'll be on form tmr.. better rest early lah. after I watch a few more episodes of So You Think You Can Dance Season 2! hee alrights taaaa! take care lots people 0 comments |
