Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice
3:50 AM  I wish it was Boon Tong Kee, but its not. But here's a picture of the chicken rice we cooked for dinner on Sunday! Doesn't it look like your mommy's home-cooked chicken rice? We should have chopped up the chicken drumstick into strips and it'd look just like the chicken rice you get in the hawker centre. But yea, we didn't have a chopper so that's quite impossible. And that's besides the point. The point is - we cooked chicken rice! So amazing right. haha it is, considering I don't cook at home. Well it looks good, tastes.... 'so-so' (haha its so-so according to our very unpicky tastebuds. at least it had the smell of chicken! but erm of course it leaves much to be desired lah. we're amateurs at this still. but with practice, we could possibly sell chicken rice to the rest of the hawker-food-craving Singaporean congregation here and make some quick cash yea? lol) I should be updating about more interesting stuff other than the food I had for dinner, but I'm feeling kind of nua at the moment.. so maybe tomorrow morning if its sunny yea? haha now I'm just gonna go finish watching Priceless (the French movie starring Audrey Tatou) and snuggle under my comforter with a book. nights! 0 comments |
