plans for the future.... holiday. 1:13 PM

blogging is slowly becoming a habit, and yea nick you were right, its difficult to start but when you do, it catches on. I just used to think everything that happened in a day wasn't worth blogging. but maybe like how holly justifies her passion for art, when you create something, a quilt, a painting, or a sock, its out there in the world and it helps you learn more about yourself. Gradually I'm beginning to see blogging as a means of learning more about myself, learning how to express myself, and also as a record that I can look back on next time (and probably laugh at how childish my thoughts were). That my thoughts are out there in the world, and I can't take them back because they will always be there to remind me, of what kind of a person I am at this point in time.

I was walking back from class with Fabian just now, and we talked about our plans for the holidays after we graduate. Traveling, is of course on the cards. But that will only take 9 days out of the 2 full months of holiday I'll get to enjoy. So I'm going to find something to do with the rest of the time. Thinking of finally getting down to learning driving! Actually, its something I'm DEFINITELY going to do. If I get lazy again someone PLEASE remind me?

I'm excited about this... I've always jumped at the opportunity to drive (not on roads though, haha) - driving buggies or go-karts. And maybe my pathetic driving experiences have given me a misconception of how difficult driving can be. Afterall nobody cares whether you drive the buggy into the grass patch or crash your go-kart into the pile of stacked-up wheels along the bend, as long as you don't cause any casualties. But then seeing xp have to manoeuver up narrow multi-story carpark slopes or squeeze her dad's camry into skinny-sized parking lots reminds me it may not be as easy as driving a buggy! It always seemed easy watching my dad drive. He drives with such natural ease it looks like walking. But he's been behind the steering wheel for as long as I remember. Let's hope driving skill is hereditary! :P I'll tell you guys if it is when I start my lessons. (Aimee! lets learn together at SSDC okay? Hurry up and go take your basic theory.)

I'm also toying with the idea of continuing my Spanish lessons during that time... Its been fun learning in school right now, and fun talking to Jing in Spanish with my severely limited list of vocabulary, asking her in spanish how to say this and that... "Como se dice 'fat' en espanol?" (edited to add: I just learnt in class just now that fat is 'gordo' en espanol. Soy gordo!) And it's always been one of the things I wanted to achieve - being fluent at a foreign language. I thought I could maybe overload my modules and take Spanish level 2 in school during the special semester, but it doesn't seem possible cause they don't offer the level 2 module during special sem. Might have to take it privately and pay $$! :( I'll already be parting with at least 1k for the driving lessons (think the parents are paying though... I owe them such a huge debt!) Hoping mel will wanna take with me. Shall convince him later over lunch. haha

Okays off to lunch now. Have a great non-blue monday!

Welcome to the drunk mootoo tiger's blog. This is the blog of a nonsensical 22 year-old. All posts are true accounts of misadventures in my life.

    misadventurer
I'm a shopaholic, a chocoholic, an alcoholic, a clubbaholic, an eataholic, a music junkie, a traveler. I love crying in the movies, love cookies and popcorn, love lazing at home and love making people laugh. I'm addicted to Johnson's Baby lotion, to my mom's cooking and to sinful desserts. I cannot multi-task, I cannot drive, and I'm afraid of heights but I enjoy rollercoasters. I like to be around people with whom I don't have to care if they think I'm crazy drinking bak kut teh from a straw. I've never taken the reverse bungee, never been to the US, and never dyed my hair pink. And I want to go on an misadventure once in my life.

    the grand plan
