my future
11:50 PM i feel like heaven's playin a trick on me. i've met people and had conversations i shud'a had long before now. but like i said, its almost as tho i'm being taken on a ride. and instead of makin me anticipate the future and look forward to it, it makes me regret. i question the things i didn't do and some of the things i did do. i wish i was more focused and knew what i really wanted. that i was more in control of myself and less easily swayed as i always am. it gives me a glimmer of hope, one that will soon be doused and return me to reality. i should make do best with what i already have, i know. but at this point, i just can't help feeling like i do now. but things are as uncertain as they are until the day the shroud lifts. just thinkin about that day itself gives me the jitters. opening that flimsy piece of paper that might just seal your fate, at least for that very minute and a few hours thereafter. while i contemplate my options. 0 comments |
