Shenton Way DBS
8:39 PM i know i haven't blogged for such a long time. but well i have already admitted i've been incredibly lazy to update these days. lol plus the fact that i can't log onto the internet at work so the only time i get to use the net is when i get home, all shagged. besides, work is pretty much the same everyday, although my past few days of work have been quite an experience, literally. I've been on mini-excursions, cos I was transferred from place to place to place and back to where i started on day 1, only to be transferred back to where i just came from. haha if you're lost, i don't blame you. it can be a pretty disorienting experience because just when you think you could get used to being at one spot for long, you are picked up and deposited someplace else and the process of getting adapted to your new surroundings begin all over again. well, for the weeks to come, I will be back at Shenton Way, working in DBS Tower 1, on the 30th storey. yup, i get a pretty view of the sea and containers off vessels, piled up high. lol i am pretty thankful for everything that's happened so far, despite all the changes in so short a time. grateful for the things i envision i will be able to learn in the next few weeks that will probably be relevant to my future profession and course of study. haha ok honestly, the food is a huge perk. there's tonnes of food everywhere! whichever direction you walk towards, there's bound to be good food someplace! haha seriously, i think i am gonna become really fat, so fat my skirts will be bursting at the seams by end of March. *pray not though. hee okie dokes, enough updates for now. my face is feeling really warm and uncomfortable right now, like i'm running a fever. ack... ciaos darlings! lets catch up over this long weekend alright! *hugs* 0 comments |
