my first lan session
1:49 AM haha guess what everybody! i played lan with my classmates today! haha can u believe meee playing lan? not to mention we spent 4 hours there at a shot. hrmm.. well its actually pretty plausible, considering i did use to play back then when Counterstrike was all the ragee on the gaming scene. but i've never tried LAN before. (i could try at home, but i'd only be playing with my elder brother. haha) its pretty fun when you can win, but when you pick the wrong characters and end up being trashed, or when you play with all the pro gamers from all over the world and keep getting called a noobie and dying.. it can get pretty frustrating. haha it is a rather patience-testing game i'd say. fortunately i've got my two brothers i can go to for pointers. i promise when i become pro one day i will not call the very-obviously-noob-people noobs. i shall be nice and cordial to all gamers. hahaha *cross fingers well before that we played an hour of pool while waiting for the router at the lan shop to be fixed. now now i wanna play pool again people.. please call me out when you feel in the mood ok! hrmm.. but then again, it was only fun because the guys were good.. so at least the game could go on, otherwise i would have been stuck with the same 10 balls right from the start for a long long time seeing my lousy aiming skills and shaky hands. lol alright. before all you guys think i have been lazing all day and still not taking any action about my unemployed status, let me set this straight. i went to 2 job agencies today to sign myself up, hoping that i'll get some word back soon so i can complain less about the exorbitant transportation costs (made worse by bouts of absentmindedness resulting in one forgetting to tap one's card before alighting.) i hope i get used to the need to prevent LTA from profitting from the inherent forgetfulness in poor ole graduates like us. they are despicable! haha ok now look how far i have digressed. back to getting myself a job. well.. it was pretty fine.. although i may have my hopes too high now that i've heard of others who've gotten jobs that pay $10/hr. i may choose to reject those moderate paying ones to wait out for those that pay double digits! haha alright.. dream on right! well.. gotta be realistic gal! =( sidetracking again.. i just wanna mention that my ear keeps popping everytime i swallow my saliva. its terrible! i've still got a nasal voice from the sore throat and i don't know what to make of the 'popping'! ugh.. i need to yawn to get the pressure out. haha i'm going on to the track next to the first sidetrack. i'm listening to Lush 99.5 fm now.. they play chill-out, lounge, jazz sorta music.. think i can get used to this. it'll be great to listen to while i laze in bed reading book after book.. awww.. haha ah well i can't tell u how dirrty i am! i haven't bathed since coming home at 10.45 pm! hahaha come now.. lemme give u a big fat bear HUG! well at least i'm not tall enough that people end up with their noses appropriately positioned on the same level as my under arm, so its a consolation. =D 0 comments |
