8:42 PM check out the links on the right--> .:mark ryden:. the pictures have such a spooky air abt em, esp the blood series, they're eerie yet provocative and intruiging. reminds me of the pictures that team Protege chose to sell on The Apprentice yesterday. the ones that led to their team failure. they may have only made a meagre $869 yet i feel that their choice was not unjustified. the artwork they chose was so enticing, it felt like they came from some forbidden realm. and being humans, our inherent rebellious streak sometimes overpowers our logical train of thought. .:loretta lux:. lotsa clean lines, very neat stuff of children. one commonality of both artists are that they both feature their characters in a ghostly white colour. i especially liked 'works iv' for the sense of detachness from everything else. real people in seemingly artificial backgrounds, like in a play. my favs are "The Fish" and "The Bride" 0 comments |
