10:43 PM hee..just got home from a lil gathering with the gurrls and we had such a nice nite! yummy food..lovely company, soothing ambience...what a perfect night! wish time would stop and we didn't have to rush home. like what we said, its just so comforting to know that the people you've spent ur secondary school days with are still the same old people you've known and that when we get together after a long time apart, things are ultimately still the same. just as we're about to meet our crossroads and possibly take different paths in the next few months, its a blessing that some things we're so accustomed to have come along with us. ahh..the memories...love u gurrRls so much...*huGs* can't wait to see ya on sunday man! put up the pics soon alrite jingz n chrisss dears! anyways, i had my lil piercing done...hee hee...and it wasn't painful...just a lil prick but afterwards my ear was apparently flushed for qt a long time, according to mAaaanda dearest...haha think it still is now...=P hrmm..our national stadium, which has a history of 31 years with the nation, is gonna be torn down next year to make way for a new one... guess our older generation is gonna miss it a lot cos its been a familiar place for many Singaporeans. People who have sung the national anthem and songs of patriotism over the years that the national day parade have been held there..the kallang wave... it was where we as young nanyang girls practiced to perfection for that final day and performed excitedly to a fully seated stadium. and i guess it also holds special memories and moments of glory for the many athletes & soccer players who've competed there. the place may be dowdy, dirty and gray but still the landscape will look so different when an all new stadium is up. but i guess it allows us to start afresh on a clean slate...build newmemories of the new national stadium... oh well i can't wait for the Olympics to start!! love watching it! yipee! =D okie dokies...tataz peeps...happy holidays! and Happy National Day Singapore!! 0 comments |
