back with a tan-gence
12:55 PM i'm back...with a tan yea... from alphis's church camp at sentosa.. it was well fun cos of people as screwed up as me.. and well cos i had my 7 hours worth of beauty sleep even though the aircon was chugging and rattling away (which woke our dear isabel up at 5.30 am in the mornin..poor her..) i was more or less a log..unperturbed by the racket it was makin. i mean, with a queen size bed and the master bedroom all to ourselves, the only thing more i cld ask for was a private washroom right..haha...so i decided not to be picky...hee hee.. and since i've become known as THE PIG it is naturally one of my top priorities to comment on the food. lunch n dinner was packed rice.. filling but not exactly delicious. but when you're perpetually hungry like i always am, anything's alright..haha well the chilli tapioca chips were definitely yummy man!!hee the thing i remember most about...whee the people were nice, like alphis's sisters, louise and charis, who put in tremendous effort trying to make everthing run smoothly, but were thwarted by isa n i, who were constantly tardy..oops...felt quite bad tho... and well there's my group(Timothy) leader, jianwei, screwed up like me..hee marcus, the one forever vying for the chilli tapioca chips with me and yea the quiet but cool weichong. oh yea, and who can forget the three jokers, weijie, alphis n jonny.. for always gaying around, their ant-killing crusades(but you've really got to thank them for killing those irritating creatures that bit me like i was a slab of meat) and for creeping into our bed and messing it up. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT MAN. hah.. well i must say i got to know more about christianity. it was kinda like a history lesson and though i'm not considering going to church, it'd be interesting to find out more.. i mean just yesterday when we were working at swissotel, i was talking to jess all about this and asking her stuff.. there's actually quite a lot to think of about why people believe in God and how so many things in the bible came about. got me thinking quite a bit. no matter what, it was quite fun..cos of the games and the people. lucky for me, isabel brought her camera.. and so it'd be much easier for me to remember the events and the people i've met from this camp. anywayz, think isa, mel n i're goin off to sentosa on friday again!!haha cos mel's As r ending today, and she, the white, boiled chicken wants to turn into a roasted one, so well, isa n i with our burnt skin, r gonna escort her there..haha, to make sure she doesn't turn into a burnt one as well huh...hee...alrightey...meeting the FRIENDS for dinner tonight...gonna bring my cam man...realised that i can miss out on a lot when i always leave my cam at home..hmm... i'm gonna bring it everywhere i go man!! cya guys later!! 0 comments |
