    traces and tracks.. 1:18 PM

    I've recently come to realise many more people read my blog than I thought, not just the friends whose blogs I also have linked, but friends who don't write their own blogs, and thankfully friends close enough for me to not panic and want to move my blog elsewhere after so many years. come to think of it, its stayed at this silly blog address since the time I used to greedily devour packet after packet of Meiji plaincrackers back in JC.. (spare me for the lack of creativity with names! :P)

    I guess like what Fia said in our 214 class last week, people own blogs for all different reasons, some people write for themselves, some use it as a travelogue, others make a business out of it, or use it to keep in touch with friends. Its really a no-brainer listing these out. You could really write anything in your blog. For me, it would really be the latter. It helps that each of us have a blog, so even when they're far away in SMU(quite far.) or UK or on exchange in New York, I can still update myself and them on our lives so far. And that somehow through these chunks of words, we can connect to each other!

    part of my aim when I began blogging was hoping I could improve my writing. was always envious of the style and wit my dear friends wrote their blogs. always insightful and sometimes poetic. but then I must not have been born with that flair, cause after so many years, I'm still this unpolished blogger who writes everything at face value. heh it does make things a lot easier for my readers though. lol

    thank you dears who've left tags and msges to take care of that runny nose! its really tonnes better now. . must be the strawberries that helped :)

    and to Cheng - it was by merit, for the first round of applications. unfortunately I didn't win by merit and I got my 3rd choice which was to Korea! so daunted by the potential language difficulties I expect there, I well.. rejected it.. and am embarrassed to say this to all the people who wouldn't have minded going to Korea. subsequently it was a walk-in-selection in typical kiasu Singaporean culture, everyone went early in the morning n were running from place to place. wish I had a car tho! then no need to run... haha now waiting for replies from the Berlin School of Economics to check if there're gonna be any clashes of semester or problems with subject matching though. I really hope I get a positive reply! Berlin will be fun! :P hope you're doing great in New York sweetie! :)

    Welcome to the drunk mootoo tiger's blog. This is the blog of a nonsensical 22 year-old. All posts are true accounts of misadventures in my life.

    misadventurer
    I'm a shopaholic, a chocoholic, an alcoholic, a clubbaholic, an eataholic, a music junkie, a traveler. I love crying in the movies, love cookies and popcorn, love lazing at home and love making people laugh. I'm addicted to Johnson's Baby lotion, to my mom's cooking and to sinful desserts. I cannot multi-task, I cannot drive, and I'm afraid of heights but I enjoy rollercoasters. I like to be around people with whom I don't have to care if they think I'm crazy drinking bak kut teh from a straw. I've never taken the reverse bungee, never been to the US, and never dyed my hair pink. And I want to go on an misadventure once in my life.

    the grand plan

    9-11 May :: Tiesto Elements of Life World Tour @ Port Dickson!!
    20-28th June :: Taiwan with Vin&XP&Nick!
