3:14 AM those aren't my vital stats, though I wish damn hard they were(even tho it'd be difficult to get clothes). the first number represents the no of days till my first paper and the second stands for the no of days till I can shout 'mommy, its over!' and chuck this semester's books aside. like the past 2 semesters since I got into Uni, there's not much of a sense of urgency to catch up with my lagging tutorials as yet, even though 24 is a pretty daunting number if I think about it. 24 days, or 3 wks and 3 days, which is less than a month. compare that with the amount of work I need to do to get ready for the exams, which will be hindered by 3 Project reports due, 2 presentations and a quiz 2 weeks before the exams begin and the alarm bells in my head should really be going off. yea, there are alarm bells in my head. except they're probably faulty. so right now instead of going off like sirens, they're ticking down. which makes me think.. when I'd look at the date and scream 'holy gamoly' and get a fit. 20 days? 15? 15 sounds scarily close to the exams. how much of one semester's work can you cram into your brain and store until the end of 15 days in time for an exam? not much at all. surely not enough for me to be confident of a B+.. perhaps for Forensics (but that's an elective..) but my cores! ok I think I've successfully induced myself to near-panic mode. time to go to bed. it's a good thing I blogged today. lol 0 comments |
