don't wanna miss a thing..
8:50 PM reading Shuxin's blog made me realise how happening hall was this past week and how much fun I had. just a little recap..  birthday babies  wed nite we had badminton IB finals and well blue block won so I guess that's a medal for me to add to my wall :) but the highlight of the night was celebrating shingyeong and polly's birthdays. There was no throwing of birthday people into Nanyang Lake like we traditionally would or hurling eggs and flour at them but it was tonnes of fun. Polly ended up going hysterical smearing cake on the people who came to celebrate her birthday and then it developed into a cake fight with JunHao. After that things got worse when they began using all the toiletries they could find from the girls' toiletries basket along the corridor. Shower foam, toothpaste, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, baby powder, soap powder, glass spray.. and inevitably the corridor was in a state of mess when we were done. I got attacked by pails of water anyway and so yea I was drenched but at least I didn't get the combination of those toiletries on me. The cleaning lady was cursing when she cleaned up the next morning, according to yuchii. hee  barbeque in hall! and then on thursday nite I had a looong nap in the evening and woke up only at 9. opened my door to smell a barbeque going on in the void deck and so of course I went down to join them. almost all the people we knew in hall were around, altho mainly it was the blue and purple-blockers anyway. we had yummy ben&jerry's icecream courtesy of ziyang (he organised the whole barbeque actually) and lotsa yummy food. after that we ended up having slipper fights (for the uninitiated, basically the guys steal each others slippers and throw them upstairs so we have to go pick. the important thing is not to let the slippers get lost. haha) it was a hell lot of fun protecting my own slippers and well, watching and laughing at other people. :P then shux, yuchii and I went for the leisurely jog I blogged about before this. things got exciting after I showered though, but well I shan't say what in case my blog gets read by more people than I know. haha well the gist of this is, I think I'm gonna miss hall life like crazy if I don't get to stay in hall next year! sigh.. why do I have to graduate one year earlier than all the other people.. :( one year less fun. hais gotta get going to discuss a project now tho. life's fun in hall but yea still gotta do work. heh tatass! 1 comments |
