of hog's breath and macho margaritas!
3:57 PM  manda's 20th at Hog's Breath, Chjimes.  the rest of the photos [here]! The original plan was to head to Clarke Quay for dinner and then drinks at Cafe Iguana for Margaritas! hee but thankfully we switched plans and went down to Chjimes instead, despite it being pretty pricey. Turned out it didn't cost us that much for dinner but most importantly the place was charming. The atmosphere was serene except for a short moment when it was broken by a fierce lover's tiff. I could have sat there all night chatting and photo-whoring! The beautiful 2-storey architecture embellished with bright lights, the night sky, little fountain, nice long courtyard walkways.. Lets go there again! all that was lacking was the sound of an acoustic band. haha seems like all the places we go to together turn out to be lovely.. Hemisphere, Chjimes.. I guess our gatherings are suited for quiet idyllic locations. And then I just want to head back again soon! when our budgets permit though. gotta start saving up for another occasion worth celebrating comin in less than a month.. haha time to crack the brains for plans again. That was on Tuesday night, the 5th. And then on Thursday with my usual clubbing bunch of friends, it was to MOS. lol We were drawn by the free-entry, and the idea of Macho Margaritas at Cafe Iguana. :P and so we had both. but other than that the night wasn't too remarkable. We left in about 2 hrs cause the music was getting too lousy and went for supper instead! yummy porridge.. and then I skipped my class the next morning, even though I told myself I would go the night before. >.< And then finally, after much procrastination I went to get my hair cut yesterday! It was getting out of shape and far too thick. Happy with my new haircut from klearcuts, Far East.. hee its good.. at least for now. :P now my ponytail doesn't look so much literally like a pony's tail anymore. :D 0 comments |
