I'm back (for now)!
9:00 AM  At the airport & on the plane! My Phuket trip rocked! But it was only because the company was terrific! I love my dearests! And I miss everything about Phuket already. The lovely comfy bed, the sea view from the patio in front of the room, the pretty pretty toilet, the fish in the fishbowl, the live band at Baan Laimai, Somsai, our friendly waiter at Baan Laimai, getting all high on the dancefloor, the beautiful beach, taking photos against the sunset on the beach, Blue Hawaii, Tom Yum Goong, everything lemongrass(towels, drinks, soups with them..), refreshing coconuts, the incredibly CRAZY things we did in the hotel room (including incriminating evidence I would like to keep under lock & key and for my own eyes only), SHOPPING, the Warner Brothers' shops(where I bought 4 tees!), whitewater rafting with my 5 sweeties, the yummy local lunch(which I still fantasize about), my 2 hour Hot Oil Aromatherapy Massage and 'Sparkling Eyes Facial' which was done in a pavillion on the hillside, where I could hear the waves crashing against the rocky shore, falling asleep as my masseuse gently exfoliated and massaged my face, streaking my hair red at Central Festival(the service was GREAT! I had like 4 people fussing over me trying to help me choose which colour to dye)... *sniff* nostalgia!  Our hotel room! See what a warm welcome we got! Well, the getting-around-Phuket part was not so nice cause we had to bargain with the tuk-tuk & taxi drivers and cause we were probably ripped off even after all the thirst-inducing haggling, plus all the 'Where you from? Japan? Shokubutsu? Ajinomoto? or Singapore? Come in and see LAH. Cheap LAH. -pulls hair-', 'You want tuk-tuk?', 'Nooo. 400 BHT CHEAP. Gasoline EXPENSIVE. Your hotel on HILL. -gestures to show us how a hill looks like- (as if we didn't understand H-I-L-L.) ' lol.. it got quite fun on the last night cause we decided to reply in all honesty where we were from. We decided to tell them Tiong Bahru, Ang Mo Kio and Yio Chu Kang. hee.. Guess where they thot we were from. Nepal! we were all so *tickled* There were some not so nice parts that I don't want to recall at all so I shan't mention them. I just want to give a warning. If you're goin to Phuket in future, DO NOT WATCH FANTASEA! IT IS BLOODY NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! ITS NOTHING BUT A TOURIST-SCAM! PLUS, IT IS NOT CABARET (NOT LIKE THE KIND OF LADYBOYS YOU WANT TO SEE!)IF YOU WANT TO SEE THOSE, JUST GO TO BANGLA STREET AT NIGHT! heeee.  photo formation on our last day of NBS FOC   Pyrites! Hee.. *giggle giggle* I miss the 5 days we spent together even tho it was bloody tiring. I did more unforgettable stuff in those 5 days than all the orientation camps I've gone for combined together! All the blindfolding, all the games, all the dirty icky stuff we did.. they're an INDELIBLE memory now! lol.. its been almost 9 days since the camp ended but we're goin strong! haha everyone's still very enthusiastic about meet-ups and gatherings! in less than 10 days there were already 3 meet-ups! 2 while I was in Phuket and another KTV session cum dinner at Marche on Friday where we took this photo! the next gathering is a cycling trip at Ubin on Friday! but sigh.. I expect I'll still be at Hall Camp.. which I guess I can sneak off with an excuse if I want to.. I think I'll see if its fun.. else I'll just run off. HAH. I am evil. Oh yeaps! I've moved stuff into my hostel room already and I kinda love it now! love my new bed especially.. its damn springy and my new pillows and bolsters are like SOLID. haha nice to sleep with! lol I love my new bright green bedsheet too and I think I'll grow to like the not-so-nice blankie my mom took from my aunt.. hee right now my room just lacks a fridge, a tv(a small one will do. the room's not that big anyway), a microwave oven, a portable aircon and umm.. nice curtains. haha anyone wants to sponsor all those? I guess in exchange you could squat in my room cause we have a pretty big space in the middle of the room where you just enter. I forsee future mahjong sessions/steamboat dinners taking place there! *chuckle I guess I should go improve my mahjong skills! hee Aright! Until I get back from my hall camp, maybe with photos of my room, ciaos and take care babes! 0 comments |
