i am a kiasu singaporean.
3:18 PM  singaporeans are damn kiasu  This was the queue outside the Raffles City Mango outlet at 8.30am in the morning today. Freak. To think I believed most Singaporeans were decent, diligent citizens who had to work on a Thursday. They were bloody earlier than me and wong! No wonder she was so paranoid when I reached the MRT station late. Haha Anyway, it was utter chaos inside. Long queues to the cashier, even longer queues to the fitting room so girls were hiding in corners and pulling pants up their skirts. Hah I was an idiot. I wore a pair of cropped pants to shop and I wanted to try a bottom on but didn't want to queue. So, I, erm had a quickie in a corner with wong trying to shield my decency from other shoppers. Other girls just had to pull it up their skirt! I am such a ding-dong. lol Bought 3 pairs of cropped pants (please don't let them go out of fashion. wong joins in my prayers too) and a lovely double-zip jacket that is my best buy. Total damage : $130 Oh yea, I did something totally embarrassing today. I paid using my NETS so the cashier swiped my card and I have to key in my PIN right? But erm.. I erm.. I just couldn't remember my bloody illusive PIN! *whines* eeps.. Totally wanted to dig a hole and hide myself. I think I held up the counter for close to 3 mins. Ugh.  Wong, stunned by my flash. *chuckle* This was wong at the VJC General Office yesterday. They renovated the place and it looks SO cool now. Red sofa seats all along the front and full-length glass walls. WOAH. Would have been fit for a club or pub if they dimmed the lights. hee Then we went to Parkway Parade and we saw Gary Chan's tuition students sitting at the bench near the bus stop so we decided to wait for him to come pick them up! Sooo nostalgic of our time last year! haha we managed to catch him (even though he was late as usual) 2 comments |
