always think of the consequences
12:21 AM I was doing my sit-ups in front of the teevee in a desperate/last minute attempt to shake off those tummy rolls for tomorrow's swim. On comes the news on Channel U about the 22 year old female Chinese national who had her body parts severed and thrown into the river by her 50+ year old SINGAPOREAN supervisor. God. And my mom was saying Singaporeans wouldn't be so cruel as to mutilate the body in such a grisly manner. After all, we're a civilised society with civilised people and civilised actions right? Seems not. Its sad to hear that its been done by one of our own people. I wonder what any Chinese national working in Singapore thinks of us now. Anyhoo, he's been arrested and will be tried in court tomorrow. But I really took more notice about the seige that an International School in Siem Reap, Cambodia underwent. Oh the terror those kids were put through. The luckier ones were rescued when the kidnappers tried to escape in a provided vehicle but some were taken along as hostages. Imagine being only 2 yrs of age and being caught in crossfire. I would have cried my lungs out, probably my eyes too and pissed in my pants at the same time. But a Canadian 2-yr old kid got silenced for crying. These kidnappers have no heart I tell you! When I saw the father carrying and bawling into his dead child.. I personally wanted to shoot those ass**** dead. And all this, because one of the kidnappers wanted to exact revenge on his South Korean ex-employer for sacking him!!!!! Alright, on a lighter note, Tom Cruise proposed to Katie Holmes!!!!! huh?? *scratch head* I seriously thought their relationship was some publicity stunt. They're for real??? But not say I want to say lah. They look so uncompatible together. Katie Holmes looks like she just graduated from high school man.. and erm Tom Cruise doesn't look that young. Right. But most importantly of all, I hope they really love each other..haha well at least he didn't ask 'Dear, shall we apply for a flat?'.. :P 0 comments |
