doing intelligent thinking
7:12 PM I've been following the happenings on this newly discovered blog by a Mr Ken Lyen. This local guy's a composer of musicals and screenplays but his blog stuff are all as serious as a prim and proper adult's should be. Its pretty good for improving your gp cos he tackles issues like creativity, university quotas, nurturing geniuses in kids and some other more profound topics like philosophy (like waaaatt?). Some posts I totally skip, like the philosophy ones, cos erm, yea, they're just too deeeeep for me. His type of posts are just what I need as I reach the crossroads of my life as a student and need to make yet another difficult decision about where I want to go and what kind of life I want to lead. This is actually the Blog of the Month?? or something like that.. as conferred upon by the pull-out section of the Straits Times, DigitalLife. Its a good excuse to escape from the mounds and mounds of work to come online for a jiffy.(besides my visits to CC and FP lah..) anyway, I've been having terrible shoulder-aches on my right side. maybe its cos I haven't been sleeping in the right position or it might have to do with doing lotsa writing, but its never been like this even when I was writing page-long essays for hist and lit back in NY. I desperately need an OSim!! or i guess just a shoulder and neck massage will do just as well.. *daydreams of lying by the beach in Bali (or any other nice resort) indulging in thirst-quenching fruit punch and having the throbbing tightness in my shoulders melt away with the sounds of the waves... aaaah... 0 comments |
