why must it take something like that to make me want to work hard? a blow like that to the stomach, that takes the wind out of you, makes you crumple to the ground, demoralized. but then it also makes you wanna be a million dollar baby, to resurrect, fight back. thankfully but unfortunately I have people who are in the same boat as me. someone I can spew all my grouses to and she'll understand. someone who can simply say 'I know how it feels' and I can feel better without her having to offer words of comfort. and this isn't the only thing about me she can empathise with.

thank you. you know who you are. I'll bring more seaweed when we go study :P
