sit and watch
4:10 PM drops of sky dew dangle from the ledge, trembling in the wind and threatening to descend to the surface below. the sign of rain that has come and gone. a lone fallen yellow leaf is uplifted by the wind into my sight and it darts in random directions upwards. then more join it in its ascent, floating around like tree fairies in a dance. for a moment my eyes glaze over. I see myself strolling through a field specked with fallen leaves, the wind swirling and circling me, autumn leaves frolicking around me. I'm clad in boots and a snug green shawl keeps me comfortable. I can finally afford the time to stop and smell autumn coming, to take in the beauty around me. and then without warning, the wind carrying the pretty leaves from beneath departs, and they flutter back to the ground! boo! I think I've been watching too many korean dramas. :P haha I am bored studying!! Actually no, I just woke up from the usual nap I cannot bear not to take on weekend afternoons in my monster of a bed which swallows me in its depths. hee I just needed a perk-me-up! now I'm off to the books! tatas..! 1 comments |
