all I want for the new year is a new organiser!
1:14 AM There's less than one day left till the new year! And I'd say the year ended on a high note 'cos us hockey girls got 2nd place in the Inter-Hall Hockey game! It's an honour to achieve some standing for our hall and its been an experience being part of a team of self-driven sportspeople. One thing taking part in the inter-hall games has taught me is to play hard and don't look back with regret. It was awakening to see how some of these sportspeople take these games so seriously and truly fight for nothing but the best. Makes you want to emulate them. To play with zest. But then today is a bad day for family relations. Had a mild cold war with my mom 'cos she wasn't happy over my over-involvement in hall activities which has resulted in me being infrequently at home. I think she's PMS-ing so I hope things will be fine when I go home tomorrow. On my part I think I could have been more patient explaining my hall commitments to her so she'd at least know what I spend my time in hall doing. Personally I feel like I'm not accountable to her abt the things I do in hall, 'cos afterall I am in school. I'm not out clubbing every night and getting drunk silly or engaging in whatever other vices there are. But then I must think like a mother to understand. And its frustrating 'cos I don't know how mothers think! And I don't intend to set any new year's resolution to try and do so since I know I won't stick to them anyway. Maybe they should just offer an elective titled 'Decipher Mothers' or something and I'll take it for next sem. :P Anyhow, I want a new organiser for the new year! I love my current Esprit one but unfortunately it only lasts till the clock strikes midnight on 31st December' '05! *hint Happy New Year everyone! Hope yall had a great 2005!
